If one day, I will be in power to participate in drafting future laws regarding road safety, I will for sure use the knowledge I gained on this project.

Despite the pandemic that was arising around the world, the Network for European Citizenship and Identity Cyprus has implemented the project Road Safety Consciousness in March 2020. Through the project, the participants had the opportunity to share experiences, learn and design practice how to influence target groups (but also others inbroaden level too) for being aware and respecting Road Safety Consciousness - encourage the youth to design, run, and implement a project that is related to their own interest and that can raise public awareness on issues of health, safety and solidarity. The project also supported young people and in general all people to be aware about the positive effects of cooperation in local and international level for their own and global development.

Throughout this project I improved my skills on socialising, cooperating, public speaking, critical thinking and reflection. I learned different information about the history, culture, habits and situation of the countries attending. What I mostly enjoyed was the intercultural nights, trying different traditional food and drinks, dances and games. Also, hiking in beautiful Cyprus was an amazing experience, exploring the beautiful nature and bringing us all together as a team.

This is the first time i am participating in an erasmus+ project. I never thought that this kind of experience could give to someone such beautiful feelings, especially this project.

Robert, Romanian Team

I found these discussions and activities very useful in nowadays as from now on I know how to behave in the road carefully and how to avoid situations which might have really tragic repercussions. I really enjoyed the international groups as I
found a lot new and shocking facts about the situation in the roads which, probably, would never happen in my country.

I will do thanks the organization NECI for the opportunity to participate to this project. It was one of the most inspiring days of my life. Road Safety is a very interesting topic.

Cypriot Team

I had an amazing opportunity to participate in youth exchange called ‘Road to Safety’ in Cyprus.I met amazing people from Greece, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Cyprus and Poland. I got a lot of information about topic of the project. I had a chance to work in my national group as well as in mixed country group which helped me be more creative and taught how to cooperate with others. I would really like to have an opportunity to repeat this project in the very near future. I am sure I could increase my awareness and knowledge about safety on roads if I had a chance to participate again.
