Volunteer Teams RESTART project in Halkidiki, Greece from

AGE: 18-30 

The team will create online and offline socialization opportunities in the Greek village of Megali Panagia of Aristotelis Municipality. The volunteers will plan events and campaigns to engage the community and empower the youth. They will participate in physically demanding activities to help improve the village's spaces, such as painting sidewalks and local buildings, contributing to the renovation of the area's cultural center, and activities to engage local youth through sports events, among other things.

The place of the project is Megali Panagia, which is a historic traditional village in the mountainous area of Greece, but has beautiful beaches nearby and is easy to access with public transportation. The village is super famous in Greece for its summer festivities in August and the rich nature all around the village.

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to use media tools and improve their relevant skills as they create a series of videos about Megali Panagia and the local customs, life, and rich nature of the area in order to highlight the area and the program.
