I participated in "SHAKE THE BOX! - Alternative ways of Participation" long-term project in Oviedo, Spain!The seminar "Participation out of the Box" was the first activity of Y-E-N work plan!
I am grateful to U.S.B. for being given this opportunity! On a personal level, i learnt the pros of youth participation and what it means to break out of your comfort zone , discovered new tools and alternative ways to support young people to become active in society. Additionally i gained an international network of friends, intercultural competencies, as well as cultural awareness, valuable life-skills and international experience that helped me to broaden my horizons physically and mentally, increased my motivation to learn and develop personally and academically. So the benefits of participating in such projects are just unlimited.
