Of course, we also had the opportunity to meet
and collaborate with great young people from
different European countries and through them to
get in touch with other cultures.At the same time
we were given the opportunity to visit the
European Parliament where the MEPs have their
meetings in Strasbourg, which is one of the
strongest points of this exchange!
It is worthwhile for everyone to experience a
youth exchange program at least once! We are now
all stronger, refreshed and ready for new Erasmus
+ journeys!
We are Sofia, Anna, Helen, Elizabeth, Filitsa
and through this article we would like to share the experience
we recently had with the new " Democracy Builders " exchange
program in France in the
first week of December. The project took place in the Rothau
district, a village near Strasbourg, in the east of France. Over
the course of the 7 day , we learned a great deal about
democracy, about the rights of European citizens in both
political and human rights, as well as about the institutions of
the European Union and the levels of participation of
European citizens in the political process and the decision
making. The knowledge we gained was valuable and the
method of non-formal learning more interactive and therefore
more enjoyable!
