The kick off meeting of the project 'BRIDGES – Building Relationships and Integration' project has taken place in Florence, Italy between 27 and 28 February 2019 . It was a chance for partners to get to know each other better and work on the project activities. The 9 partners are coming from 5 European countries and are COSPE onlus, Sociolab Ricerca Sociale, Consells Esportius de Catalunya, Municipalità di Tortosa, Associazione Antigone, United Societies of Balkans, Udruge Centar za Miroune Studije e CSIT World Sports Games & Single Championships.
Partners presented the work packages in which they are responsible and tasks have been distributed amongst the people. The future activities have been scheduled according to the work plan that has been created.
Next steps of the project will be include sporting practices, cultural activities and services of general interest, designed and implemented by all members of the community in a participatory and inclusive process, the project allows the promotion of the values of the European Union with regard to the integration of immigrants and solidarity between them citizens by providing innovative solutions to meet their common needs.
