Our volunteers and participants, share with us, their experiences!

During August 2021 we had a chance to participate in a mentor training in Poland. As a person who had worked with volunteers from other countries I became also a buddy for them. So I had to use some mentoring skills that I didn’t know I had and this gave me the opportunity improve myself. Studying psychology and also being participated in volunteering projects made me realize that I really like the mentoring position. We flew to Poland without having many clues of what the training will be.

On the first week of October 2021 we had the chance to meet in Palermo for a V for volunteers project. It was a training For coordinators of volunteers which included organizations from different countries from all over Europe. Personally I had no idea of what a coordinator does. My mentor told me that it was a good opportunity for me to participate in this training because I am interested in about organizing and preparing different events and I also have communication skills.
