On 20-28 / 03/2022 I participated in the training course "Social entrepreneurs in action" organized in Smolyan, Bulgaria. The project was about social entrepreneurship, what are its principles, on which pillars is it based and how does it work. analysis of the differences between a social enterprise and a joint venture.
The educational goals of the project were achieved to the best possible degree, while at the end of the program, through groups that were created, ideas for new social enterprises were presented as well as ways in which each idea can be formed and implemented.
In addition to the sessions related to the project, there were also pax sessions, where optionally the candidates made a brief presentation of some special skills, experiences or knowledge they possessed, which could be useful and constructive to the other participants.
Apart from the educational part of the project, of course there was also the social and cultural interaction of the candidates who came from different countries, cultures and lifestyles. This was I think one of the most beautiful aspects of the program, the fact that people coming from different parts of the world we participated in discussions, outings and intercultural nights.
I would advise anyone who has the opportunity to participate in such activities to do so, as it only has benefits to gain.
