Returning from the 'You Save' exchange in Madrid, I now fully understood how climate change works and directly affects us in our daily lives without realizing it, and I was now in a position to be able to explain the phenomenon in detail back to my surroundings in Hellas. Also, apart from the knowledge I gained, I made new acquaintances with whom we are still in contact to this day and they recently visited me back in Thessaloniki.

My experience with the "You save" program was simply unique. In just 6 days I made new friends, met people from many different cultures and learned a lot about sustainability and recycling. Something that stood out
is that most activities were experiential and were done through the cooperation of individuals in groups. The teams were mixed and you rarely found yourself with a person from the same country in the same team. Through games and activities, we emphasized the value of recycling and re-use, as well as food waste. The cultural evenings also took place within the framework of these philosophies and we all tested our cooking skills and put our imaginations and creativity to work.
I would definitely go to a program of this organization again, as the organization was excellent. Finally, I would like to thank the USB for the perfect cooperation and for the preparation they did before and after the program.
