2 weeks ago, the first project I participated, was successfully completed. In addition it was an unforgettable experience for me as it was my first trip abroad. I learned a lot of new things about the discrimination that exists and which types of discrimination occur most often in all the different countries that the participants were from. I also met many different people and their cultures.
During the first days of the program, I was impressed by the activities we did to break the ice and get to know each other. Along the way, various groups were formed that came together late at night to dance. The presentations of the workshops and the various dances encouraged us to participate and discuss various creative ideas.
The days that seemed most pleasant were the days of visits to Larnaca and Nicosia. We learned a lot about the history of Cyprus while trying many local dishes in the restaurant. It was also an opportunity to relax but also to bond more with the members of the project.
So in the most beautiful way, my first trip abroad is over and I hope to be able to participate in more projects in different countries and learn more people from abroad.
