6 young people from Greece met in Corabia, Romania to expand our social, cultural and educational horizons!
We met young people from Bulgaria, Portugal, Latvia, Italy and Romania, exchanged opinions, discussed our common concerns and dreams, and eventually became a group without discrimination.
We visited Slatina, hiked in a forest, raised awareness about recycling in the local community and experienced Romanian culture and hospitality first hand!
We also learned interesting information about environmental protection and the environmental footprint that each of us leaves through interactive games and group activities. We created terrariums and our own projects, expressed our feelings for the planet, collaborated to create accessories from recyclable materials and finally presented them on a unique catwalk!
The result of all this? We are now aware and informed about what we can do to protect the environment and have created friendships and communication bridges with young people from different cultural backgrounds!
Many thanks to "United Societies of Balkans" for this life experience and for their support throughout the program.
