Giorgos' Erasmus+ story in Croatia

I participated in July at the youth exchange “Populism is no Joke” in Orahovica, Croatia, it was my first Erasmus+ program and I had a lot of fun. The host organization was amazing, the hotel that we stayed was nice, the food was delicious, and the organizers were very friendly and supportive. The topic of the project was about populism and wokeness, I gained a lot of knowledge about identifying populist politicians, also the workshops were very entertaining, and we had a lot of energizers to get more comfortable each other. I met very interesting and nice people from Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, Italy and Netherlands and I learned a lot about their cultures. Also, during the program, we went hiking in a local hiking route and it was one the best day of the project due to adrenaline and fun that everybody had that day. Generally, I think that this program will be unforgettable for me because everything was perfect, from the people to places and the project at Orahovica will always be memorable in my mind.
