The program "Including You(th)" took place in Struga, North Macedonia, on August 17-25. The Greek team started their journey with 5 participants, who traveled from Athens and Thessaloniki, to live this experience. The program aimed to include young people, to play together again, games they played as children in summers in the countryside. During the program, each day was assigned to a specific country, responsible for organizing the day's activities and with them inspiring the other participants. The Greek team presented their own games on August 24, 2023. The common goal was for all the other participants to have fun through the games, but also through Greek culture and tradition. In the first phase, we started with an energizer, during which we played the game “Oh, Mariam”, in a circle. Every time someone lost, they left the game circle. Then we played "broken phone", in 2 groups, saying funny Greek words and phrases. Thus, teamwork and cooperation were enhanced, and of course, fun. Finally, we completed the process with traditional Greek dances and painted our faces. We felt like kids again and we all became a team, playing and dancing in the countryside. Undoubtedly, it was a program that none of us will forget, because here everyone found what they were looking for. But the most important thing was that we got to know each other and experienced something that anyone would envy. Thank you very much and we look forward to the next mobility program.
With love, the Greek team.
It was great to be part of this program, because I honestly really wanted to visit North Macedonia and the people there. The team that welcomed us was very friendly, I felt at home throughout the program. Meeting people my age from all over Europe was one of the best things I did, and I learned a lot from it. We shared, we had no prejudices, we loved, we were ourselves. I would definitely do it again.
