The programm "ECA" that took place in Nurri, in Sardinia Italy, was really one in a lifetime experience. Very anxious at first, unsure of what we were going to do the next few days and I'll that I will not match with other people, it was a bit of a challenge for me. Little did I know that in a hotel in the middle of nowhere I was going to create some of my greatest memories. The program was perfectly organized, with fun and diverse but simultaneously educational activities. We explored EU opportunities and policies about raising active awareness of European Citizenship, tackled the future of the EU, its place and weight in the world according to us, the next generation of Europe, and understood the processes of democracy and concept of active citizenship through outdoor activities. And all that while meeting four new cultures, France, Italy, Portugal and Poland, getting to know their traditional dances, food and habitudes and discovering the beautiful island of Sardinia. But the most beautiful aspect of the exchange by far is the strong friendships I made in just a few days and that I will remember for a long time.
