My recent Erasmus+ adventure in Sardinia was a truly unforgettable experience. We stayed in a quiet hotel near Nurri, which was the perfect setting for a program like this, and hanging out with people from other countries, and unlike the city environments of previous Erasmus programs, this secluded location allowed us to bond over shared experiences without the constant distractions of urban life. The hotel had a cool pool and other stuff that made it really comfortable.
.
The program was really good, striking a perfect balance between structured activities and free time for relaxation and exploration. The first day served as an icebreaker, allowing us to get to know each other and learn the program's objectives. The days that followed were filled with a diverse range of activities, from engaging discussions on European citizenship to cultural immersion through traditional dances and cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the intercultural nights, which offered a glimpse into the traditions of the different countries that participated in the exchange.
Our outdoor adventures were equally memorable. Hiking nearby to lakes and rivers provided opportunities for breathtaking scenery and refreshing dips in the cold waters. I really enjoyed diving from the cliffs into the small pond, which was a mental challenge as I had never done something like that in my life, but helped me gain more confidence and bond with the group more. Kayaking to the island on Isli Lake was another highlight, allowing us to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the Italian countryside.
Beyond the structured activities, I formed lasting friendships with participants from various countries, especially those from the French team who I shared a room with.
The combination of a peaceful location, a well-structured program, and the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds made it an unforgettable adventure. I would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking a chill and fun Erasmus experience experience.
