Michalis' Erasmus+ story in Germany

The Erasmus+ youth exchange “EXIT” was a unique experience that strengthened my personality both intellectually and socially, changed my way of thinking and inspired me to become a more active citizen. Before starting the program I had many expectations, such as learning more about countering extremist thinking and ways to contribute to the promotion of peace and social cohesion. In addition, my desire to interact with young people from different countries and to get to know in depth their culture and elements of culture was also strong. Things went exactly as I expected. I spent unforgettable moments of fun, exchanging opinions and experiences. I learned how to communicate more effectively, promote tolerance and respect, and fight hard against extremist thinking. Going back to Greece I feel more fulfilled than ever, happy for all the special moments I experienced and with a strong feeling that I can be the change in our world.
