One of Us in Cyprus

One of Us in Cyprus

In the world we live in, social discrimination is one of the biggest challenges. The “One Of Us” program, which took place from 13th to 22nd of March 2025 in Pervolia, Larnaca, Cyprus, gave young people from all over Europe the opportunity to reflect, to be educated and to become agents of change. The Greek mission, with the ultimate goal of combating and eliminating social inequalities, undertook the creation of a workshop on the topic of “Recognizing Discrimination”, during which it highlighted the various types of discrimination and stereotypical behaviors that exist in today's society.

At the same time, the participants organized their own intercultural night, in which they gave the opportunity to children from North Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia and Romania to get to know Greece from their own side! Finally, this program contributed to the creation of healthy relations between the aforementioned countries and proved that despite our cultural differences, we are all equal and share the same world!
