If you had told me when I first applied to this programme that it would turn out to be one of the most amazing things that I have ever experienced, I honestly wouldn’t believe you. You see I was a little hesitant about applying in the first place because I thought that it would be weird interacting with people I didn’t know. That is why I had decided that I wasn't going to go. But luckily my friend talked me into it and at the last minute I had a change of heart and ended up submitting my application.
When I first arrived I felt pretty awkward because I didn’t know anyone except my friend and I am not a very communicative person so I figured that in the end I wouldn’t really have bonded with anybody. However, I turned out to be completely wrong because not only did I get to talk with people that I am very thankful to have met but I also formed new friendships. Apart from that, I also got to know a lot about how democracy works in my country and other too, and moreover I learnt a lot of interesting facts about other cultures that I am never going to forget.
That is why you should not think twice and apply to this programme because trust me it will be one of the most wonderful experiences of your life.
