Make a path in Slovenia

Make a path in Slovenia

Participating in Erasmus+ "Make A Path" program was a thrilling experience. The organizers were very hospitable and kind. The atmosphere between all participants was very friendly and this helped in every activity that we had. So, It was a very good way to meet people of different backgrounds and exchange opinions and knowledge. Also, we saw many of Slovenia's "must see" sights, like Postojna Caves, Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Finally, we helped 4 cities (including Thessaloniki) obtain a brochure that can make them more accessible to foreigners.

In September, I had the opportunity to lead the Greek team at the “Make a Path” Youth Exchange in Postojna, Slovenia, a project under Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership and MC Postojna. This initiative focused on raising awareness about the challenges immigrants and refugees face when moving abroad. Over six days, we participated in enlightening workshops and created a brochure for four cities in Greece, Denmark, Finland, and Slovenia, offering guidance for smoother integration. Special thanks to our sending organization, United Societies of Balkans - NGO, for this amazing opportunity.
