After some time, I participated again in a youth exchange program in Cyprus. The name of the program was "I have a dream" and it exceeded all my expectations. This "dreamy" program took place in Pervolia, Cyprus, in a small village next to Larnaca in the 3rd week of March (17-25).
The aim of the program was to raise awareness about the elimination of discrimination, stereotypes and racism. We delved into various issues that I personally listened to every day without fully understanding their importance on a human level. I listened to the views and personal experiences of various participants and got to know the traditions, dances, food and got a "taste" of the daily life of each country.
The program included both outdoor and indoor activities. The laughter and smiles of those who participated in "ice breaking games" as well as the activities in which they work with people from different countries to resolve an issue, will be unforgetable.
In a summary, I have to say that this program exceeded all my expectations. It is wonderful to know and bond so deeply with people you know in such a limited time. In the end all that remains is the memories and in this program we created countless of them.
