A few days ago I had the opportunity to travel with my team to Karlovats, Croatia and participate in "Prism 2.0" , a program regarding sustainable practices in organizations and in our life. During this week I had the opportunity to connect with people from different countries and understand on depth the importance of communicating and organizing my life and my habits around a more sustainable way. All the workshops gave us tools, ideas and practical knowledge on how we can apply practices and how we, as youth workers, can shape a greener path for our NGOs. At the same time, I met amazing people and with them I got to explore the culture and beauty of Croatia while also learning stuff about it's history. It was a unique experience that gave me a lot of useful knowledge for my future and I hope I'll be able to participate again in something similar.

As part of the Erasmus+ program on sustainability, titled PRISM 2.0, which took place in Karlovac, Croatia, we learned about sustainable everyday life and the ways in which we can achieve it individually. In addition, we understood that all investment moves by governments and individuals should have sustainability as the primary goal, as large projects are the ones that greatly burden our planet. We realized the above through the various practical, social and digital activities we took part in, such as presentations on the environment, debates and the use of the Canvas tool to create an eco-friendly business plan for a building in the heart of Karlovac. At the same time, we were given the opportunity to meet young people from all over Europe, thus learning about the culture and civilization of various peoples. The PRISM 2.0 program will remain etched in my memory as an unforgettable experience both for the knowledge I received and the people I met.
