My first Erasmus+ experience in Torino, Italy through the project "Youth Voices Green Choices" was unique! From the very first day, I was introduced to a world of new ideas about food, sustainability, zero waste, and respecting the environment. The programme was all about how we, as young people, can make smarter food choices, reduce waste, and take better care of our planet.
It wasn’t always easy, but, that’s part of the adventure! What really made it all worth it were the incredible people I met, from all over the world. We worked together, laughed together, and got to explore the streets of Torino.
The best part about making friends from around Europe, was exchanging ideas, and learning how others think about sustainability. Thanks to our communication, I had the chance to practice my English, bond with everyone, and get inspired by their passion for making a positive change in the world.
It was an amazing 8 days that I’ll never forget! Definitely looking forward to more projects like this in the future!

This June, I had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ youth exchange project in Turin, Italy, focused on food and the environment.
Throughout the project, I participated in a variety of interesting and unique workshops and engaged in meaningful discussions on different aspects of the topic. I found the sessions on food nutrition particularly useful, especially those that explored how we can maintain a healthy and flavorful diet in a sustainable way. Since the project was centered around food, we were also treated to a range of diverse and delicious meals, including dishes from various ethnic cuisines as well as the famous local Italian specialties.
However, the most important aspect of the program was undoubtedly its people. I had the chance to meet, talk to, and exchange ideas with young participants from many different countries. Some of them I can now proudly call my good friends, and I cannot wait to see them again in the future.
Overall, it was a refreshing break from the daily routine that created life-long lasting memories and broadened my perspective in countless ways.
