The project focused on the use of art as a tool for social inclusion and awareness-raising on key social issues. It involved four young volunteers from Portugal and France, who were given the opportunity to develop and specialize in various artistic fields, combining creativity with social engagement.
Through their participation, the volunteers enhanced their skills in contemporary artistic practices, including digital arts such as animation, stop motion, and audiovisual media. These creative tools were used not only for artistic expression but also to promote values such as solidarity, peaceful coexistence, and collaboration.
The activities were implemented in Thessaloniki and targeted vulnerable groups, including refugees, people with disabilities, and children in institutional care. Volunteers organized and facilitated workshops, seminars, and events in refugee centers, support institutions, and orphanages, contributing to social inclusion and community engagement.
Overall, the project aimed to strengthen the connection between art, technology, and social impact, empowering both participants and beneficiaries while promoting inclusive values and raising awareness within local communities.
