The “Balkan (re)Vision” training project was an updated version of the previous “Balkan Vision” initiative, aiming to promote and protect human rights through non-formal education and intercultural dialogue. The project focused on strengthening understanding and respect for diversity within a multicultural European context.
The main objective of the training was to equip participants with knowledge, experience, and skills related to the promotion and protection of human rights. At the same time, the project addressed stereotypes and prejudices, tackling issues such as xenophobia, racism, nationalism, and sexism.
A total of 32 young participants from Balkan and European countries—including Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Croatia, and Greece—took part in the project. This diverse participation fostered a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and intercultural learning.
Through their involvement, participants developed intercultural competences and gained practical tools to promote equality and social inclusion. The knowledge and experiences gained were later transferred to their local communities, enhancing the overall social impact of the project.
