The Transnational United Network in Europe (TUNE) is an EU-wide informal network of 21 youth organizations from 18 countries, coordinated by United Societies of Balkans (USB). TUNE is committed to strengthening youth participation in democratic life by breaking down barriers to engagement and promoting inclusive, evidence-based policymaking.
In 2025, the network focuses on empowering young people, particularly those from marginalized or underrepresented backgrounds such as rural youth, minorities, NEETs, and youth with disabilities, to actively shape their communities and policies at local, national, and European levels. Through a series of capacity-building trainings, participatory research, local debates, and international mobility actions, TUNE works to foster a culture of youth-led governance and bottom-up democratic change.
Vision
A just and sustainable future where digitally connected and empowered youth shape democratic societies through youth-led participation, digital engagement, and inclusive governance.
Mission
To empower young people to shape democratic life and inclusive policies through actions that promote participation, amplify diverse voices, and drive bottom-up change at local, national, and EU levels.
This network is co-funded by the EU.
