The project “COFFEE (Colorful Fighters For European Empowerment)” was a training course designed for youth workers, youth leaders, members, and volunteers of youth organizations who were working with or interested in engaging with LGBTI youth. The project aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills, enabling them to better support young people with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations.
The training was based on non-formal education methods, including experiential workshops, theatre techniques, group discussions, and reflection activities. Through these approaches, participants explored issues related to the everyday realities, challenges, and experiences of LGBTI youth, enhancing their understanding and empathy.
At the same time, the project contributed to strengthening participants’ competencies in human rights and European citizenship, providing them with practical tools to promote equality, inclusion, and respect within their local communities.
