The project “Games 4 Life” was implemented with the aim of developing key competences among young people through the use of different types of games as educational tools. The approach of the project was based on experiential learning, highlighting the value of games as a powerful method for strengthening skills that are highly relevant in today’s labour market, such as teamwork and problem-solving.
Throughout the project, participants explored the framework of key competences and became familiar with educational methodologies that enhance the learning process. Special emphasis was placed on understanding and applying Kolb’s learning cycle as a tool for developing collaborative skills and effectively addressing challenges within group settings.
At the same time, the programme provided participants with practical knowledge on how to design and implement educational activities using games as a core learning method. Youth workers and trainers developed the ability to create structured programmes tailored to the needs of young people, encouraging active participation and experiential engagement.
Through this process, the project contributed to the empowerment of participants and the development of innovative approaches in non-formal education, promoting game-based learning as an effective and modern educational practice.
