The youth exchange “Giovani Europei a confronto per un’ Europa a regola d’ arte – di Europa si deve cantare” was implemented with the aim of fostering dialogue about Europe and strengthening young people’s sense of participation in European democratic institutions and spaces. The project brought together young people from three countries—Italy, Albania, and Greece—which, despite their geographical proximity, present different levels of connection to and identification with the European idea.

Through this exchange, participants had the opportunity to share perspectives, experiences, and views on what Europe means and their role as active citizens. The project created a space for intercultural dialogue, allowing young people to explore common values while also understanding differences shaped by their social and political contexts.

The main objective of the exchange was to enhance the sense of European belonging and to promote active citizenship among young people. To achieve this, creative methods such as art, music, and theatre were used as tools for expression, communication, and mutual understanding.

Through this creative and experiential process, the project contributed to the empowerment of young people, strengthening their self-expression, collaboration skills, and awareness of their role as active European citizens.

The U.S.B. carry out educational, social, and volunteer mobility and youth-empowerment programs. Their goals are social inclusion, the creation and support of a network of active citizens, and improving their quality of life.
