The “From Idea to Europe” project brought together 20 youth workers, social workers, and educators from 10 countries (Montenegro, Slovenia, Poland, Greece, Serbia, Belgium, Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, and Germany), aiming to support participants in developing and implementing their entrepreneurial ideas, either individually or collaboratively. Participants were carefully selected and trained through three educational modules implemented in Serbia, Greece, and Belgium.
Throughout the project, participants worked on developing their business ideas, which were evaluated during the training activities. The entire process was documented and led to the creation of a documentary, later translated into nine languages, enhancing the visibility and dissemination of the project’s outcomes and experiences.
The training approach was based on Career Self-Management and Life Coaching methodologies, through which participants developed key skills in planning, launching, and managing entrepreneurial initiatives. During the follow-up phase, they transferred this knowledge to their local communities by organizing entrepreneurship workshops for young people. This process also resulted in the development of a practical manual, designed as a tool to support individuals interested in implementing their own business ideas.
The project included three main training modules: in Novi Sad, Serbia, focusing on idea development, risk management, and business planning; in Thessaloniki, Greece, focusing on marketing and budgeting; and in Brussels, Belgium, where participants finalized and presented their business plans while exploring legal and practical aspects of implementation.
