
"Integration 101: integration of refugees through sport" is an Erasmus+ Cooperation partnerships Sport Project between USB (GR), Se Poate (RO), Champions Factory (IE), IKOS (TR), BAIS (HU) and L Orma (IT). The project lasts 24 months and aims to create innovative tools that focus on the use of grassroots sports and the promotion of education through sports. A "Handbook", a "Guide" and a "MOOC" will be created which can be used by professionals working actively in the field and other stakeholders working with young third country nationals.
In addition, the aim is to strengthen and create conditions of equal opportunities, strengthen and upgrade youth work and work with immigrants and ensure equal access to sports for all. The activities of the project are as follows: Opening meeting in Thessaloniki (GR) "Pass" Manual for the creation of sports activities and the promotion of education through sports "Catch" Guide for the integration and connection of third country nationals with local people, through the collection of good practices at the grassroots level.
There will also be a breakout session in Bucharest (RO) 'Bounce' MOOC for professionals on integrating sports into their work with refugees and migrants. There will also be a 'Wave' campaign within the European Week of Sport as a means of disseminating the program at sporting events in all partner countries.
