The “Mix it Up, Shake it Up – Rethinking Follow-up of International Youth Events” project was implemented with the aim of improving the quality and sustainability of outcomes generated by international youth activities. The project ran from May 2018 to December 2019 and was carried out by a partnership of 6 organizations from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Germany, and Greece.
The main objective of the project was to develop guidelines and strengthen the capacities of youth organizations for effective follow-up of international activities. It focused on transferring learning outcomes from the international level to local and national contexts, ensuring that the results of mobility and training activities are meaningfully utilized and have a long-term impact.
At the same time, the project created opportunities for youth leaders to become more actively involved in civil society, strengthening their role as agents of change within the youth sector. Through collaborative processes, exchange of best practices, and the development of practical tools, participants enhanced their competences, contributing to improved quality of youth work and increased participation of young people in social and democratic processes.
