Networking Event

We are pleased to invite you to our first networking and project development event in Thessaloniki, Greece between 6-10/12/2022 (working days 7-9). The activity is going to be fully funded by USB through its projects (accommodation, travel, food and coffee breaks).

Aims of the event:

• Networking of the participating organisations at European level;
• Presentation of the project ideas thematically and share skills and experiences on funding schemes;
• Initiation of new partnerships and fostering cooperation of the existing ones

Event content
USB will bring together approximately 20 European organisations covering different fields in EU programs such as Entrepreneurship and Inclusion, Education and Training, Sports, Youth and Environmental sector, as well as research Institutions. Meanwhile, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with other diverse organisations, exchange projects’ ideas, develop their proposals and work on small groups. Working in groups will enable them to pool ideas from different perspectives, attempt tasks that could not be accomplished individually and maximize on each others’ strengths.

Τhe division of groups will be realized based on the field category and project ideas that will be presented. Each group will function as a development lab for the creation of action plan that will be submitted on the upcoming EU calls for proposals.

Participants
USB is going to offer 1 to 2 places from each organisation. We request that organisations send a member from their project development departments. No random participants will be accepted due to the scope of the event.
In order for participants to be accepted, they have to present at least 1 concept note of a project proposal per participant. In case an organisation comes with 2 participants, they will have to bring at least 2 proposals.
These proposals have to be under a long-term partnership. Proposals that are accepted could be Erasmus+ KA2-3, CERV, AMIF, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe and others that the organisations are working on.

Travel budget
USB is going to reimburse all participants based on the distance calculation between their city of origin to Thessaloniki. The applicable rates are the following:

• Between 100 and 499 km 180 EUR
• Between 500 and 1999 km 275 EUR
• Between 2000 and 2999 km 360 EUR

USB will reimburse participants after the event based on the tickets/invoices they provide and their boarding passes/tickets.

Registration
Participants will need to register to express their interest by the 31st of October 2022 by filling in this registrations form. Upon selection it will be requested from the selected participants to send a concept note of the idea that they would like to develop during the event within the period of 2 weeks after the selection. A concept note template will be shared with the selected organisations upon selection. Only selected organisations will get the concept notes of all the other participants along with the final info pack.
