The project “Play for Inclusion” was implemented from August 2016 to April 2017 across seven countries (Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Greece, and Italy), aiming to strengthen non-formal learning and transnational exchange between Programme and Partner Countries.
The initiative focused on young people with fewer opportunities, including at-risk youth and young offenders, using sport as a tool for social inclusion. Through structured sports activities, the project promoted the prevention of peer violence and encouraged positive forms of interaction among participants.
At the same time, the project contributed to expanding access to sports opportunities for young people from socially excluded groups, fostering participation, self-confidence, and social cohesion.
