The project “REACH-OUT” aimed to develop and pilot an innovative training program for youth workers, supporting them in effectively reaching and working with young migrants and refugees. At the same time, the project contributed to enhancing participants’ professional development and improving the overall quality of youth work in this field.
As part of the project, a training needs analysis was conducted, forming the basis for the design of a specialized training program. This program was piloted, strengthening participants’ knowledge and skills related to the inclusion and support of young people with migrant and refugee backgrounds.
The partnership brought together organizations from several countries, coordinated by Yaşar University (Turkey), with partners from Italy, Austria, Greece, and Turkey. Through this collaboration, key outputs were developed, including a Needs Analysis Report, a Training Curriculum and Materials, and a Training Manual for youth workers.
Overall, the project contributed to building the capacity of youth work professionals and to developing practical tools that support the inclusion and active participation of young migrants and refugees in local communities.
