In the European project WE ARE HER, USB cooperates with six partners from six countries: Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU-Belgium, Coordinating body), Bodrum Dance Club - Youth,Culture And Art Center (BDK-Turkey), ASPIRE (Egypt) , Social Inclusion For Development (SIFD- Albania), Lebanese Democratic Women Gathering (RDFL - Lebanon).
The aim of this two-year project, which started in December 2023, in line with EU policies, is to contribute to the empowerment of women, girls and young people to fully realize their rights and increase their participation in politics, economic and cultural life. The project seeks to address the structural causes of gender inequality and gender discrimination in different and diverse regions of the world.
In addition to the above, WE ARE HER promotes and includes in its actions, the creation of a transnational cooperation network between partners in the Mediterranean region, with the aim of exchanging and developing skills, best practices, opportunities and cooperation skills.

A total of 100 young people, 20 from each country, will participate in local networks as Ambassadors, until the end of the project in 2025, and will be trained to design and implement activities in the city, taking a leadership role in local communities, especially in the field of gender, equality, women's empowerment and inclusion.
Members of these local networks from each partner country will participate in the 5 project mobilities, the Training Course in Bodrum, Turkey, and 4 Youth Exchanges to be held in Egypt, Albania, Belgium and Greece in 2025. They will also be invited to take on Social Media campaigns, local actions, workshops and events, gaining skills in project management.
