The project “Youth, Business, Better” (YBB) was implemented with the participation of 8 civil society organizations, three from the Western Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania) and five from European countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia, and North Macedonia). The initiative aimed to strengthen cooperation among youth organizations by creating a shared framework to address contemporary social challenges.

The main objective of the project was to develop a comprehensive approach to tackling unemployment and the social and economic marginalization of young people living in rural areas. The project focused on empowering youth organizations by providing them with the necessary tools and methodologies to effectively support the employability and social inclusion of young people.

Within the framework of the project, partners exchanged, evaluated, and developed knowledge, best practices, and non-formal education (NFE) tools. These tools were tested and further developed through a Training Course (TC), involving youth workers and social workers from each partner organization. The developed methodologies were then piloted in all partner countries with the participation of local youth stakeholders.

In the following phase, partners assessed the outcomes through targeted activities involving young people from rural areas, strengthening the practical application and sustainability of the project results. Overall, the project contributed to empowering young people and creating opportunities for employment and social inclusion at both local and transnational levels.

The U.S.B. carry out educational, social, and volunteer mobility and youth-empowerment programs. Their goals are social inclusion, the creation and support of a network of active citizens, and improving their quality of life.
