The “Youth Employment Initiative for Europe 2” project was a regional initiative implemented in Greece, serving as an advanced continuation of the programme previously carried out in 2013 in North Macedonia, in collaboration with Bulgaria. The project focused on an in-depth analysis of the challenges related to youth employment and unemployment in Southeast Europe.

The central activity of the project was the organization of a regional forum, which functioned as a platform for dialogue and exchange among young people, experts, and stakeholders. Participants explored various aspects of youth (un)employment, addressing social, economic, and educational factors.

Through their participation, young people had the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges in the labor market, while contributing to the development of proposals and solutions. The forum strengthened transnational cooperation and supported the development of common strategies to address youth unemployment.

The project contributed to a better understanding of current trends in youth employment and enhanced young people’s active participation in shaping policies and initiatives at the European level.

The U.S.B. carry out educational, social, and volunteer mobility and youth-empowerment programs. Their goals are social inclusion, the creation and support of a network of active citizens, and improving their quality of life.
