For more than 10 years, U.S.B implement actions and educational, social and voluntary mobility and youth empowerment programs. Our aims are social integration, creating and supporting a network of active citizens, as well as improving their quality of life.

Aris Paraschou
President and Founder
Aris Paraschou

Aris Paraschou has done a master in Intercultural Dialogue and Education and has been involved in more than 100 youth or other projects. He is a youth trainer and part of the pool of trainers of the Council of Europe and of the Hellenic National Agency, responsible for the Erasmus+ Youth Programme. He is the head of the Greek National Network of the Anna-Lindh Foundation.

Ioannis Tsilsou

Ioannis Tsilsou

Ioannis Tsilsou has studied in the department of International and European Studies and now he is doing his master in European Policies on Youth, Education and Culture. Since 2012 he has been involved in various organisations as an activist and a member and took part in various Training Courses about intercultural dialogue, human rights and European policies.

Sofia Madentzoglou

Sofia Madentzoglou is a student at the School of French Language and Literature in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked in different organisations in Thessaloniki and abroad as a youth worker or youth trainer and followed multiple training courses and seminars on personal development and life-coaching.

Assistant Finance Manager
Ermioni Triantafyllou

Ermioni Triantafyllou is Assistant Finance Manager at U.S.B. working close with the accountant of the office in project financial management and budgeting. She has studied in the Department of Accounting and Finance. The last two years she has a weekly radio show in the web radio Infinity Greece.

Luiza Tsikala

Luiza Tsikala

Luiza Tsikala has studied Balkan, Slavic and Oriental studies in University of Macedonia. She has been a volunteer in various organizations since 2010 and has participated in many EU mobility programmes as a participant and facilitator. She is currently working in United Societies of Balkans as Assistant Project Manager.

Kostis Giannidis

Kostis Giannidis

Kostis Giannidis has studied Religious Studies and he is currently a master student in Political Islam. He is a member of Erasmus Student Network Greece since 2014 and has participated in many Mobility programs in the framework of Erasmus+. He is currently working in United Societies of Balkans as EVS Coordinator and Networking Manager.

Christian Cibba

Christian Cibba has studied International Relations in University of La Sapienza in Rome with focus on Cooperation and Development. He is a journalist and has been working the last five years for newspapers and non profit organisations involved with social issues and he has worked in Spain and Italy as project manager and trainer in youth organisations.

Elena Fagogeni

Elena Fagogeni graduated from the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia. She has been actively involved in volunteering since 2014 and has been involved in many environmental and educational programs in Greece and abroad. She started collaborating with our organization in 2017.

Ioannis Kourtis

Ioannis Kourtis has studied Philology in AUTH and now he is finishing his master degree in “Strategic Studies”, focusing on International Energy Policy. Since May 2017, he has been involved in many projects of USB as an external collaborator, youth trainer and organizer. He is now working permanently as a Project Officer.

Rena Pitsaki

Rena Pitsaki has studied Archaeology in AUTH. She focused on Art History and on Cultural Management. She is now completing her MSc in Cultural Technology and Communications. She has been involved in many cultural, educational and research programs and she's also currently working as an independent curator and cultural manager in art & cultural projects.

Chara Siafaka
Cultural Manager and Volunteers Officer
Chara Siafaka

Chara Siafaka is a graduate student of the Philosophy department of AUTH with focus on linguistics. She teaches greek as a foreign and as a first language and has also worked as a child caregiver in "The smile of the child". The last four years has been working as a market assistant and as a ticket control manager during the International Film Festival of Thessaloniki.
