Needless to say what a great time we had with the children and how much I learned from them. Rofrano is a small separate village, isolated in its own corner and I am grateful for the program, because thanks to it I learned about its existence. Such actions highlight these areas of each country and give us the opportunity to get to know them, on the occasion of the very interesting topic in the specific case of public art.
Sure the program could be better structured but that doesn't mean I didn't gain a lot as a person. I came into contact with graffiti art with the cooperation and help of the other participants and together we created something very beautiful. It was a very creative process and the result was quite liked by the residents.
Interacting with the children who lived in the village and sharing their stories of what it's like to grow up in such a non-urban area were key elements of the program as well as interacting with people from so many different cultures. This experience of mine certainly made me think in a different way about the concept of borders, whether it concerns the small borders of Rofranos or the borders of our countries and differences.
