«My experience in the Erasmus program “Perception in Action” was truly unforgettable and enriching, both academically and personally. Over the course of six days, I had the opportunity to explore new ideas, connect with people from different backgrounds, and reflect on myself in meaningful ways.
The journey began on April 16th, when we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the organizers. They were very kind and hospitable, offering us cookies, coffee, and small snacks so we could relax after our trip. This thoughtful gesture immediately made us feel comfortable and appreciated. We were also given some free time to walk around Kielce, which allowed us to explore the city a little before taking the bus to Umianowice, where the main part of the program took place. This first day created a very positive impression and set the tone for the rest of the experience.
On April 17th, we began our first full day with a series of engaging morning sessions. The topics included The Geometry of the Soul, The Platonic Idea and Mathematical Perfection, The Path of Beauty: From Shadows to Freedom, The Canon: Calculation as Harmony, and The Power of Proportion and the Symbol. These sessions helped me understand the deep connections between mathematics, philosophy, art, and human perception. I realized that concepts like harmony and proportion are not just abstract ideas, but are present in nature, aesthetics, and the way we interpret the world.
Later that day, we participated in a cycling activity through a beautiful natural landscape. Riding through such a peaceful environment and observing the lake and its living organisms made the experience even more special. It was a great way to connect theory with real life and appreciate the beauty of nature.
On the third day, we woke up early to visit the Park Etnograficzny w Tokarni. This visit was a unique cultural experience, as we explored traditional houses that represented different aspects of life in the past. Each small house showed how people used to live, their daily habits, and the tools they used. It was fascinating to see how simple yet functional their lives were, and it gave me a deeper appreciation for history and cultural heritage.
The fourth day included a powerful morning session titled Shining Darkness: The Sublime, the Shadow, and the Art of Repair. This session had a strong impact on me, as it introduced the idea that beauty is not only found in perfection, but also in imperfection and healing. It made me reflect on how challenges and difficult moments can shape us and help us grow. I found this perspective very meaningful and relevant to real life.
The fifth day focused on self-reflection through a series of workshops. We were encouraged to think deeply about who we are by exploring our past, present, and future. We reflected on our relationships, the people we have interacted with, and what we have gained or lost through these connections. This process helped me better understand myself, my values, and my personal journey.
We also had time to spend alone in nature, which was very important for this reflection. Being in a calm and peaceful environment allowed me to think more clearly and connect with my thoughts without distractions. This quiet time made the experience even more personal and meaningful.
The sixth and final day had a more relaxed atmosphere. We started preparing gifts for our secret friends, which was a creative and thoughtful activity. Throughout the day, we enjoyed simple moments together, such as playing board games, painting, and listening to music. These activities allowed us to bond even more and appreciate each other’s company.
In the evening, we had a movie night, followed by one of the most emotional moments of the entire program. We all gathered around a fire, where we exchanged our secret friend gifts and said our goodbyes. It was a beautiful and touching ending, full of gratitude, connection, and strong emotions.
Overall, these six days were a unique combination of learning, personal growth, and meaningful human interaction. I not only gained new knowledge, but also developed important skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability. Most importantly, I gained a deeper understanding of myself.
The Erasmus “Perception in Action” program was much more than an academic experience. It was a journey of self-discovery, connection, and inspiration that I will always remember and carry with me in the future.»

My experience of the "Perception and action" project in Poland was unique. It took place in a beautiful landscape surrounded by nature. We had the chance to explore the village of Umianowice by bicycle and see various animals such as horses and wild birds. The most special experience for me, however, was when we went canoeing and pushed our limits by completing a 15km route in about 4 hours. We also had the opportunity to meet people and cultures from other countries and take part in activities together sush as painting , creativity workshops and moments of silent self reflection.

My first experience in an Erasmus+ program left me with the best impressions. Initially, we were in direct contact with nature in a beautiful landscape far from the city. I met very interesting people from different parts of the world with whom we are now connected by the common experiences we lived there. Regarding the program, it was particularly interesting and gave me a lot of food for thought. It made me see certain things from a different perspective. However, I believe that it could have been a little better organized so that I could gain even more knowledge. Of course, I have no comparison, as it was my first participation in Erasmus. An important part of my experience was also the preparation for the program, where despite my anxiety, Mr. Boutsoukis guided us fully and was always available to help us immediately with anything that arose.
