Tasos' Erasmus+ experience in Spain

I was sent to Barbera del Valles (Spain) during the 20th of January, until the 24th of the same month. It was during a training course for youth workers and the main goal of this project was to discuss about mental health. Its official title was "TC: FeelForward. Critical Thinking Strategies for Emotional Support in Young People". I attended the project as the representative of the organization "United Societies Of Balkans"and I was there with representatives of 8 other countries.

The “sustainability: growing with care” program was a unique experience for us. Our participation in this training course provided us with knowledge about an ecological lifestyle. During the workshops we made friends from many Mediterranean and other countries, combining interesting activities with quality discussions and lots of laughter. It was an important basis for us to get to know ourselves better, to socialize, to get out of our comfort zone and to learn to express ourselves to those around us.

Our participation in the ESC BOX program was an experience that will remain etched in our memory. The program’s theme, which focused on volunteering, gave us the opportunity to broaden our horizons and meet people with a shared passion for giving and cooperation. Through the activities and workshops, we discovered new aspects of volunteering and realized the value it can offer to society and to the volunteers themselves.

The “Imagine” program was held from 08 to 17 of October 2024 with the theme of eliminating discrimination and racist attitudes. The Greek team contributed to this with great success, creating its own Workshop on the theme of racism throughout the centuries, as well as organizing its own Intercultural Night, during which participants from Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary came into contact with Greek culture and its traditions.
