Ioannis' Erasmus+ story in Armenia

Ioannis' Erasmus+ story in Armenia

Last October I was given the opportunity to travel with USB and participate in the Rural Development program in Armenia. There we had to get in touch with the rural and local Armenian community and consider how the rural areas of both the region and our country can be upgraded in terms of business. We visited villages, worked with teenagers and children who had a vision for their place and overall we tried to create a plan that could be implemented in the region and bring about its development. It was a unique experience with amazing people in a country that has a lot to offer.

Georgia's Erasmus+ experience in Romania

Georgia's Erasmus+ experience in Romania

Our journey begins in November 2024 from Greece and ends in the mountains of Romania, as part of the youth exchange program “EcoArt for change”. This program had as its theme environmental education through informal forms of learning. Specifically art. Having said that, I will mention that we had a wonderful opportunity to express ourselves and bring out all our imagination and creativity. Coming into contact with our most childish selves that are somewhat lost in our everyday lives. And all this for a very important purpose which is the protection of the environment.

Digital Storytelling 4 Understanding in Slovakia

Digital Storytelling 4 Understanding in Slovakia

We started our trip from Greece to a farmhouse in the  mountains of Slovakia. The reason for our trip was the Digital Storytelling 4 Understanding training course. In this program we learned about issues related to the LGBTQI+ community and developed our skills in using digital tools. Our program included visits to the town of Kosice, a historic smiths workshop in Medzev and a farm. Interacting with people from different countries around the world was exciting and inspired us to create our own short movies.

Make a path in Slovenia

Make a path in Slovenia

Participating in Erasmus+ "Make A Path" program was a thrilling experience. The organizers were very hospitable and kind. The atmosphere between all participants was very friendly and this helped in every activity that we had. So, It was a very good way to meet people of different backgrounds and exchange opinions and knowledge. Also, we saw many of Slovenia's "must see" sights, like Postojna Caves, Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Finally, we helped 4 cities (including Thessaloniki) obtain a brochure that can make them more accessible to foreigners.
