The “CHARM – Civic Help for Anti-racist Measures in Youth Work” project was a 24-month international initiative implemented across six European countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Lithuania. Its main objective was to strengthen the youth sector by combating stereotypes, racism, and all forms of intolerance, promoting an inclusive and safe environment for young people across Europe.
As part of the project, comprehensive research was conducted on the relationship between youth employment and issues of human rights and anti-racism in the participating countries. The findings contributed to the development of targeted interventions and educational tools.
A strong focus was placed on training educators and youth workers, enhancing their capacity to transfer knowledge and implement inclusive practices. In total, 15 training seminars were delivered across a wide range of youth organizations, along with 6 international training sessions aimed at trainer exchange among partner countries, strengthening transnational cooperation.
In addition, specialized educational materials were developed to support organizations and professionals working in youth on anti-racism and human rights topics. The project concluded with the implementation of online seminars, expanding its reach and impact among young people across Europe.
