The “Hate Fighters” project was a multi-layered initiative that included an international training course for trainers, local activities and interventions, as well as a final evaluation conference. The project aimed to combat online hate speech through creative and participatory methods.
Activities were based on tools such as photography, graphic design, hip hop dance, and music, offering young people alternative ways of expression and awareness-raising. The project brought together participants from Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy, North Macedonia, Greece, and Serbia, fostering transnational cooperation and intercultural dialogue.
As part of the project, United Societies of Balkans organized a Festival of Awareness, Solidarity, and Inclusion, aiming to support refugee communities in Greece and promote values such as acceptance, solidarity, and social cohesion.
