The M.A.X project was an international training seminar that focused on key aspects of media literacy, human rights, and the use of media as a tool for social awareness. The program aimed to strengthen young people’s critical thinking skills and enhance their understanding of the role of media in shaping social perceptions.

Particular emphasis was placed on the use of tools and practices to combat xenophobia and social exclusion. Through targeted activities, participants developed skills that promoted social inclusion and intercultural understanding.

During the training cycle, 22 young participants from 11 countries took part, fostering intercultural dialogue and collaboration. Through non-formal education methods, participants identified and addressed hate speech, gaining practical tools to effectively counter it.

At the same time, the program focused on journalistic practices that promoted democracy, equality, and respect for human rights. Participants became familiar with responsible communication approaches and developed content creation skills aimed at generating positive social impact.

The U.S.B. carry out educational, social, and volunteer mobility and youth-empowerment programs. Their goals are social inclusion, the creation and support of a network of active citizens, and improving their quality of life.
