The “YSEEAM” project was developed in the context of the transition towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where automation and extensive digitalization were expected to significantly reshape the relationship between trainers and trainees, as well as the role of youth workers within the learning process. At the same time, the project addressed the rapidly evolving demand for future skills, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship, analytical thinking, leadership, and social influence, as identified by international frameworks.

In response to these challenges, the project aimed to strengthen the role of youth workers in promoting youth social entrepreneurship. More specifically, it focused on equipping them with core knowledge of social entrepreneurship, youth work competences, and technical know-how to design and deliver courses through the MOODLE platform, as an innovative and far-reaching tool for youth work. In parallel, the project contributed to the development of new youth work methodologies, supporting the sector’s digital transformation.

To achieve its objectives, YSEEAM implemented a series of interconnected capacity-building and mobility activities over a period of 24 months. The main results included the development of seven (7) Mini-Moodle courses across the partner countries, the creation of a comprehensive Full Moodle Course, and the production of the project handbook “Moodling Youth Work”, providing practical guidance on how to use Moodle as a tool for delivering youth work activities.

The U.S.B. carry out educational, social, and volunteer mobility and youth-empowerment programs. Their goals are social inclusion, the creation and support of a network of active citizens, and improving their quality of life.
